About:
Lisa Smyth is a Consultant Urological Surgeon, who has a special interest in urinary incontinence (male & female), overactive bladder and reconstructive surgery.
Lisa graduated with honours from University College Dublin in 2005. She undertook her basic and higher surgical training through the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
In 2017, she was awarded the BAUS Subspecialty Fellowship in Female Urology in Leicester, United Kingdom, where she developed a special interest in the management of urinary incontinence and urological reconstruction.Following this, Lisa worked as a Consultant Urologist in the Female, Functional and Reconstructive Urology department of University College London Hospital (UCLH). Lisa was appointed as a Consultant Urologist in Tallaght and St James’s university Hospitals in 2019.
